About me

I am a Post-doc fellow in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong. My fields of interest include governance, law and economics, and the institutional analysis and transition in China. My current research focuses on the informal land property rights, illegal market, online marketplaces, and intellectual property rights in China and examines the interaction of formal and informal institutions and their effect on institutional change in China. I studied my PhD in political economy at King’s College London. I hold an MPhil in jurisprudence from Sun Yat-Sen University, and an LLB in law from Guangdong University of Business Studies.
